Valerie is invested ensuring you succeed by tailoring your training plan to your personal needs and being available in real time through text, phone calls, emails, and one-on-one sessions. Through the variety of services offered through Halo you can build rapport with a professional you can trust allowing your dog to thrive with training, boarding, and daycare.

Valerie began working in the pet industry in 2018 becoming a pet trainer through PetSmart. Valerie also gained experience through pet sitting and dog walking. In 2021 Halo Dog Training was formed to better assist families with their dog training needs. Valerie completed her Certified Professional Dog Training- Knowledge Assessed certificate and continues education through seminars and online research.

 

"I believe that training is a lifestyle. Everyday interactions with your dog should be conscious and intentional. By training your dog early you can prevent unwanted behaviors from becoming habits and instead encourage healthy behaviors guided by clear expectations and communication. While starting young is ideal, an old dog can still learn new tricks! It may be difficult to introduce new boundaries and expectations but it is possible. My job is to help coach and guide you to build the bond between you and your dog by creating a strong communication system and facilitate exercises to build confidence.

My mission is to keep your dog in your home. Training can prevent your dog from the need to be rehomed or surrendered."
